Bio
Sergio brings over 20 years multi-discipline audiovisual experience to any project he works on. He began his career as Recording Manager and Technician at Dynamus Recording Studio (Brazil). He then moved on to radio and television: first as Studio Operator at radio and TV studio Juratel (Brazil), then Studio Engineer at Rede Globo of Television (Brazil) followed by Studio Engineer at Radio E Televisao Bandeirantes LTDA (Brazil). Sergio then took on the role of AV Department Manager at the United Nations of Brazil. Next, a move to the United States and the role of AV Systems Coordinator at World Revival Church in Somerville, MA. AV Technician at Harvard Business School, Carbiner Audio Visual Services, AVFX, and AV Tech followed. Most recently, Sergio was the AV Manager of Fabrication at York Telecom in Boston.
For 30 years, Sergio called Brazil home, born and raised in this South American country. Growing up in a vibrant culture, music has always played a central role in his life: first as a member of the popular Brazilian rock band, “Seven”, and now as owner and engineer of his own recording studio. Assisted by producer/wife Janeidy, the couple, how have been married for 15 years. live (and play!) in Medford, MA.
Ten years in the United States has opened up a new set of activities for Sergio including skiing and upcoming skydiving trips. When not jumping moguls or out of airplanes. Sergio enjoys cooking up Brazilian fare. Few people ever criticize Sergio’s cooking – he is also a black belt in Judo! Sergio was a member of the Brazilian Air Force.
